Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

I am not in-network for any private or public insurance. If you have out-of-network benefits and would like to submit for reimbursement, I will provide you with a statement upon your request.

Do you see people in person?

Yes, I have an office in Edwards, CO.

Do you offer a sliding-fee?

All of my reduced-fee/scholarship slots are currently full.

Do you see people via telehealth?

Yes, I use a HIPAA-secure version of Zoom for telehealth sessions. You will receive a new link each time we meet.

Can I pay out-of-pocket if I am on Medicaid?

Unfortunately, Medicaid prohibits its members from paying health professionals for services, so I am unable to treat you if you have Medicaid, even if you or a family member are able to pay my fees.

How long are sessions, and how much do they cost?

A typical session is 50 minutes long and costs $210. Sessions of other durations are pro-rated accordingly. The exception is the first session: I suggest that we meet for 75 minutes; this is charged at $280.

Will you coordinate with my other providers?

Yes! With your written permission, I will coordinate care with your treatment team (e.g., your psychiatric prescriber; sleep medicine doctor; primary care physician; lifestyle coach).

Will my partner/family participate in our therapy?

I generally find it helpful when patients bring someone who knows them well to an early session. We will discuss whether this is a good fit for your treatment goals.

How can I get my completed forms to you?

If we are meeting in person, you can bring your paperwork to our first session. For telehealth, you can fax forms to 720/405-4224, or you can send them via Spruce Health, a secure communication platform.
